Dr. Aline Rodrigues, C.Psych. (Supervised Practice) received her Ph.D. in Counselling and Clinical Psychology from the University of Toronto (OISE/UT). She completed her predoctoral residency at the Counselling and Psychological Services at the University of Toronto (CAPS/UT) and the Psychological Trauma Program at the Centre for Addiction in Mental Health (CAMH). Aline has experience providing assessment and treatment for adults with a variety of mental health challenges, including depressive and anxiety disorders as well as other life problems such as low self-esteem, relationship problems, stress management, and transitions. She has obtained training in evidence-based interventions including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Emotion-focused Therapy (EFT), and when appropriate integrates interventions across these approaches to meet her clients’ needs and optimize their functioning. Aline also trained at the Mental Health Program at North York General Hospital and the Outpatient Program at the Ontario Shores Centre for Mental Health Sciences. Additionally, she participated in the program evaluation of the Outpatient Eating Disorders Program at Lakeridge Health Oshawa and was a therapist on a pilot research study for individuals with Generalized Anxiety Disorder.
