Fees


Fees for psychologists at EBT3 generally follow the guidelines set by the Ontario Psychological Association. The exact fee will depend on which psychologist you see and what services you are looking for. Accordingly, fees should be discussed directly with your psychologist or you can contact us for more information. You will be fully informed about fees prior to booking your initial session or making any commitments.

Psychologist’s fees are not covered by the Ontario Health Insurance Plan. Many private insurance plans (e.g., through work or school), however, cover all or part of fees charged by psychologists. We strongly recommend that you contact your insurance provider to discuss whether you have coverage and to ask any other pertinent questions. These questions might include how much coverage they provide, what documentation they require, the procedure for submitting a claim, and whether a referral from a physician is needed. Invoices and receipts for psychological services will be provided by EBT3.

Payment for services is generally due after each session, unless alternate arrangements are made with your psychologist. We accept cash, credit card, personal check, and debit.

Psychologists at EBT3 generally require at least 24 hours notice in order to cancel a scheduled session. Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours notice are subject to a fee up to the full amount of the session. Your psychologist will discuss this policy with you in more detail.
