Dr. Candice Monson, C. Psych., is internationally known for her expertise in the treatment of trauma-related disorders, as well as couple therapy. In addition to providing these services to clients, she has developed and tested these short-term therapies, and taught hundreds of clinicians how to use them. Dr. Monson completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Forensic Psychology and has provided forensic psychological assessments and testified in legal proceedings in the United States and Canada in civil and criminal cases. Dr. Monson is a Fellow of the American and Canadian Psychological Associations and the Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies based on her contributions to the field of Psychology. She has also been inducted into the Royal Society of Canada. She co‑authored Cognitive Processing Therapy: A Comprehensive manual and is the original developer of Cognitive-Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD.
