Dr. Candice Monson, C. Psych., is a Founding Partner of EBT3. She is internationally known for her expertise in the treatment of trauma-related disorders, as well as couple therapy. In addition to providing these services to clients, she has developed and tested these short-term therapies, and taught hundreds of clinicians how to use them. Dr. Monson completed a post-doctoral fellowship in Forensic Psychology and has provided forensic psychological assessments and testified in legal proceedings in the United States and Canada in civil and criminal cases. Dr. Monson is a Fellow of both the American and Canadian Psychological Associations based on her contributions to the field of Psychology. She co‑authored Cognitive Processing Therapy: Veteran/Military Version and Couple-Based Interventions for Military and Veteran Families, and is the original developer of Cognitive-Behavioral Conjoint Therapy for PTSD. She also has recently published Treating PTSD With Cognitive-Behavioral Therapies: Interventions That Work.
