Dr. Isabelle Bauer received her PhD in clinical psychology from Concordia University. She has been practicing in the GTA for over 10 years. Dr. Bauer completed her clinical internship at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) in the Mood and Anxiety Program and subsequently worked as a clinical psychologist in the Mood Disorders Program at CAMH, where she gained extensive training in psychological assessments and the delivery of individual and group cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT). She worked at the University of Toronto counselling centre from 2013-2018, providing CBT to students dealing with a variety of mental health difficulties. Dr. Bauer provides evidence-based treatments for a number of mental health issues, including but not limited to various anxiety and mood disorders, perfectionism, procrastination, stress-management, and adjustment to life transitions. Her approach is primarily cognitive-behavioral but she incorporates other evidence-based skills as needed. Dr. Bauer has also participated in the training of other mental health professionals in the delivery of CBT and provided clinical supervision to psychology practicum students and pre-doctoral internship residents. Dr. Bauer is a member of the College of Psychologists of Ontario and the Canadian Psychological Association.
